In December, 2009, Dasi-Ziyad Family Institute Co-director Krsnanandini Dasi presents a workshop entitled, “What is An Empowered Woman” in Kansas at the BhaktVan Yoga Center. Participants at the 2 1/2 hour workshop were students who were studying to become Yoga Instructors themselves and included the Poet Laureate of Kansas. Many copies of the Booklet of 8s were sold and Ms. Dasi was asked to return later in 2010 to present another empowering workshop.
