Dasi-Ziyad Family Institute’s Co-directors, Krsnanandini and Tariq, will be presenting a workshop: CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES TO BUILDING HEALTHY MARRIAGES AND FAMILIES IN THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN COMMUNITY” at the 10th Annual International Fatherhood Conference held this year in Washington D.C. from June 10-13, 2008 at Galluadet university Kellogg Conference Hotel. The National Partnership for Community Leadership (NPCL) hosts this educational and entertaining event whose theme this year is “Reconnecting Fathers to Families: At Home and Abroad. A Favorite Father award ceremony will be one of the special highlights of the conference.
This conference will enable all who attend to gain a better understanding of the status of fragile families & responsible fatherhood issues in our nation and around the world.
About 50 different workshops, from eight different tracks will be conducted during the 4 day conference:
